May Writing Round-up

Remember the summer of 2009? When I literally did nothing besides write fanfic and squee over Star Trek, and it was glorious? I keep thinking that I'll have another summer like that, and sadly, I don't think it's going to happen again. Here I am with a brand new Star Trek, which I've seen only once in the theater, a WIP that's nowhere close to finish, and a zillion story ideas that I haven't found time to start. My boyfriend bought a ring -- the ring, actually -- which is possibly just a little distracting. I wants it, precious! I wants it now!!!!! I may or may not have become some kind of weird pinterest wedding whore since the purchase was made seven days ago.

Anyway, here's my May writing round-up, just ten days overdue. I was gloriously productive, if only for a short while.

Elementary
Games We Don't Play - Joan, Sherlock, Joan Watson/Marcus Bell
In which Joan solves a murder, goes on an unexpected date, outwits Sherlock, and survives his highly questionable attempts at emotional support.

MCU
The Pregnancy Scare - Tony/Pepper
Pretty much what it says on the tin.

The Right Thing in the Wrong Way - Tony/Pepper
People don't ask why Pepper sticks by Tony as often as they should, and if they did, she probably wouldn't tell them the truth: that he's never left her alone on the one day she actually needs him.

Two Lies and a Bit of Truth - Maria Hill/Steve Rogers, Phil Coulson
Maria Hill has a lot of back stories. One of them is even true.

Star Trek
Hair - Ensign Darwin, gen
Aisha Darwin likes being bald. She doesn't care for other people's reaction to it.

Fourteen Days of Shitty Coffee - Spock/Uhura, Kirk, MccCoy
Starfleet Medical has the worst coffee. Nyota would know - she drinks it every day Jim is unconscious. Contains spoilers for Star Trek: Into the Darkness.
Man, don't I just know about the pinterest wedding whore thing... Congrats (!?)!
Oh my word! Congratulations on both offline and online developments! :D
Thank you for this lovely comment! I'm so sorry I didn't respond more promptly - I was out of town for about six weeks, and I am only just now catching up on my LJ comments. Of course, you're welcome to stalk as much as you like :)
