That meme everyone is doing

Tell me about a story I haven't written, and I'll give you between one and three sentences from that story.

I have finished all my exchange stories! The story I wrote for holmestice posted awhile ago and received generally good feedback, I posted a Sally Donovan story last night, and I'm making good progress on a Star Trek story for the first time in a long time. I am in a very, very good fannish mood.
Go you!

I really loved the story about Amanda studying Vulcan foodways.
Amanda bites carefully into the smooth, tan cube. Sarek watches her attentively.

"It is an excellent source of protein," he says, "and it will keep for several months without refrigeration. Do you like it?"

"It tastes logical," she says and tries not to sigh.
Sally doesn't think of it as saving Sherlock Holmes' life. She's saving a life, pure and simple, and she wouldn't be able to tolerate herself if she thought of it any other way.
The one where Luna rescues Neville.

Yay for fandom!
The Death Eater charged toward Neville. Luna screamed his name, but did not hear her over the din of the battle. Her wand had slipped from her hands, she had no weapon, and just as the Death Eater rushed past her, she stuck out her foot. He tripped and fell inelegantly to the floor, his head striking the stone with a hard and satisfying thunk.
