Remixes are live!

This year, I wrote three remixes - one in the main collection, plus two for madness. Guess which ones are mine, if you feel so inclined. I think one of them is pretty obvious since I talked about it a bit while I was writing, one is possibly guessable, and one is a pretty significant departure from my usual work.

I also got three remixes this year - one in the main collection, plus two treats. My main gift, How To Lose Friends and Alienate People (The Enemy of My Enemy Remix), is a lovely expansion of my ficlet about Maria going to work for Stark Industries. The Pepper and Maria interaction is especially nice. (I think I know who wrote it, but I've thought that before and always been wrong.) In the Madness collection, I got Position Wanted, a sad and funny drabble about Kitty working for Joan instead of Sherlock, and Junk Food and Dirty Socks (The Chex Party Mix), which is a nice Clint/Natasha slice of life with bonus outsider POV on the weirdness of the Super Bowl.

Now I need to get to work on my FemmeRemix assignment. I've picked out one story and have a couple remix strategies in mind, but I also found an ancient story my recipient probably forgot about ages ago that looks interesting. Before I start writing, I'm going to have to evaluate all my ideas against the amount of time available to complete them. That's always the least fun part of an exchange because scaling back my plans makes me feel like I'm shortchanging my recipient.
