gaila: fight's losing me

Hi!

Thank you to everyone who left supportive comments on my last entries about the gym and my job dilemma! I deleted both posts today because I just couldn't stand to see something negative every time I came to my journal, but your thoughts are very appreciated - I'm sorry I failed to answer all your comments before I got rid of the posts. I probably should have thought about that beforehand...

Deadlines are looming, and school has started again. It's not an ideal combination, but I think I found the right thread for my Rare Pair fic, and I'm hoping to finish it this weekend. My Avengers BB is within striking distance of 10,000 words, but progress has slowed significantly. Don't you hate it when life stops you from working on a story, and then you lose the thread of inspiration? I'm frustrated because I'm tapping away at it a few hundred words at a time, and I just can't get the momentum back.

How are things in your neck of the woods?
I hope some of our advice was useful and I hope things look up for you! :)

Iiiii am in the midst of starting school, finishing my dissertation, and dipping my toe into the job market. All of which is a little stressful, tbh.

And in my fannish world? My rarepair fic is almost done, and I'm debating whether or not to do samhain_smut this year. I might just be done with HP for awhile. It hasn't been that rewarding of late.

I'm signed up for the polyamory bigbang which I am VERY excited about b/c it's been too long since I've written a good threesome.
Ah, so it's not just me who's a deleter of posts! :P *hugs* I completely understand about not wanting to focus on the negative.

I do; it's high up on my List of Terrible Things. Good luck!

(I've sent you an email about a certain fest; I mean what I say in it, you hear? *g*)
